Alternating Row Colours in SSRS Table

Long tables in SQL Server Reporting Services reports are a lot easier to read if you use alternating row colours like so:

table

Adding this is a simple job; select the Row, and set the BackgroundColor property to this expression

=iif(RowNumber(“YourDataSetName”) mod 2 = 1, “Colour1”, “Colour2”)

Replacing “YourDataSetName” with the name of your dataset, and Colour1/Colour2 with the colours you want to use.
